I am a direct descendent of Sarah Rebecca Penn, b. about 1760, location unknown. She married a Richard Roberlson or Robertson. There are lots of references in the World Family Tree regarding Sarah, but I can't purchase them to check out her ancestral line. They had a daughter, Lavina Roberlson or Robertson, b. April 3, 1780 who married Felta Moulder, b. Nov. 25, 1776 in Tadkin River, Orange Co., North Carolina and died in Clinch River, TN.
Felta's father, John Moulder immigrated from Hamburg, Germany and his wife, Susannah Swingle, was imported from Switzerland. He paid for her passage and claimed her to be his bride. She was a young teenager at the time.
I have no knowledge of who Sarah's parents were, but am curious, because here too, are claims of her being a direct descendant of Earl William Penn, founder of PA.
I searched the history, but could find no mention of her. Where did all of the other Penn's come from, including your line? Fill me in if you have any such information.
